The Embassy Suites by Hilton Mandalay Beach Resort announced the appointment of Christian Hellot as director of sales & marketing.
Hellot has more than 12 years of diverse experience in hotel sales and leadership roles with such well-known brands as Ritz-Carlton, Renaissance, Crowne Plaza, Sofitel, Jumeirah, Radisson and Hilton Garden Inn/Home2 Suites by Hilton.
Before joining Embassy Suites by Hilton Mandalay Beach, Hellot served as the pre-opening director of sales & marketing at the Hilton Garden Inn/Home2 Suites in Tempe, Arizona. There, he helped to set up the new hotel by implementing Hilton systems in addition to establishing the sales & marketing strategy. Prior to launching the Hilton Garden Inn/Home 2 Suites, Hellot served as area director of sales for two Radisson properties in Arizona.
His background includes a variety of other management positions and roles throughout the major hotel brands where he was successful in developing strong sales and marketing results.
Hellot holds a B.A. Concentration in International Marketing from the Institut Superieur de Gestion (ISG), Paris France.
Embassy Suites by Hilton Mandalay Beach Resort features 250 two room suites and over 16,000 square feet of meeting space, including the 6,000-square-foot Mandalay Ballroom that can accommodate up to 865 guests.
