He's made just about every mistake in the book when it comes to event marketing, and is passionate about sharing what he's learned along the way. When not at Cvent, he moonlights as a movie buff/craft beer enthusiast/open mic rock star, and is frequently found at karaoke night. Kevin graduated from the University of Virginia where he studied Psychology and Economics, and currently lives in Raleigh, NC.

With over 25 years experience in the life science technology industry, Kim has uniquely combined her passion for meetings and events with her management roles in technical marketing, training, and business development. In her current role as the Sr. Regional Marketing Manager at Illumina, Inc., Kim is responsible for strategic marketing programs and events in the U.S., Canada, and Latin America. While at Illumina, Kim has focused on utilizing technology solutions to build a scalable infrastructure to support Illumina’s rapidly growing business, expanded portfolio of products, and segment specific marketing activities. The successful integration of marketing programs, channels, funnel management tools, and sales and marketing analytics with the Cvent Enterprise Management solution is driving ROI analysis for Illumina. Kim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physiology from Southern Illinois University, an Executive M.B.A. from Pepperdine University, a Certificate in Meetings and Events from the University of California San Diego, and is a Certified Meeting Professional. Kim also holds the Healthcare Meeting Compliance Certificate from Saint Louis University and MPI. She is a recipient of the Illumina Values Award for Innovation and has twice been the recipient of the Illumina President’s Elite Award.
