The US government is back in business...at least until January when the budget deadline is reached. The meetings industry lost lots of money during this shutdown and that's not even counting the continuing sequestration! What will we do to prepare for January, February and beyond?

If someone carries a gun and isn't explicitly asked to not carry (if the laws of the jurisdiction of the meeting allow) at a meeting, why would they think to leave it at home? In their hotel room? In their vehicle?
