Founded by graduates of Pennsylvania State University’s illustrious Ice Cream Short Course, Je & Jo is one of New York City’s newest hot spots for a cool treat.
The duo pairs organic ice cream with specialty cookie dough flavors, packaging their creations in compostable cups with retro pull-tab lids.
Flavors change seasonally, and have included peach ice cream with cobbler crisp, mint with lavender shortbread and classic vanilla bean and chocolate chip.
Groups can create custom lid designs or book the kitschy “ice cream tricycle” for events and fairs. The company has provided treats for groups of up to 500.
Je & Jo has a brick and mortar location on the Upper West Side, and peddles its artisanal treats around the city in the summertime.
