Boston Park Plaza announced the appointment of David Berkoski as national accounts director. Berkoski brings over 27 years of sales, marketing and operations management experience to Boston Park Plaza, where he will manage client relations, sales initiatives and new business opportunities for the property.
Berkoski began his hospitality career at the Palmer House in Chicago, where he was promoted and then transferred to the O’Hare Hilton, before making the move to Orlando to open The Hilton Walt Disney World. His sales experience began at the Peabody Orlando Hotel as national sales manager. Berkoski then took on a variety of managerial sales roles in hotels and event production companies across the South and West, including the Wyndham Anatole in Dallas; a number of properties located in Atlanta, including Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Gaylord Hotels, Peabody Hotels, Five Star Golf and IHN Productions; Caesars Entertainment in Las Vegas; and most recently, Choctaw Casino Resort in Durant, Okla.
Berkoski has furthered his hospitality accreditation by earning a Certified Meeting Manager title by Meeting Professional International, as well as multiple industry titles, including President of the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International Georgia Chapter in 2005 and 2006 and Board Member of Georgia Meeting Professional International from 2003 through 2006.
