The AC Hotel San Francisco Airport/Oyster Point Waterfront appointed Jenay Peters as director of sales.
Opening in October, the 187-room hotel is located just 10 miles south of downtown San Francisco and 10 minutes from San Francisco International Airport.
In her new role, Peters is responsible for growing and generating new business, developing and implementing business plans for revenue objectives, coordinating group and catering bookings, monitoring production of top accounts, and evaluating trends within the market.
Peters’ 12-year career within the industry began while at Howard University, where she got her start as front desk lead at the Hotel Monaco, a Kimpton hotel in downtown Washington, D.C. Since then, she has held positions in operations, revenue, and sales at major hotel brands, luxury boutique and independent lifestyle properties, and a private membership club. She has assisted in the rebranding and launch of four hotels.
As a Bay Area native, Peters is excited to bring her industry and area knowledge to AC Hotel San Francisco Airport/Oyster Point Waterfront.
“I look forward to connecting with travelers and meeting planners, and sharing my knowledge of all the great intricacies and exciting points of interest they can experience,” said Peters. “I love being able to share hidden gems and sights, all within an arm’s reach of our new hotel.”
Peters comes to the AC Hotel team from the Holiday Inn Golden Gateway in San Francisco, where she was senior sales manager and interim director of sales and marketing, respectively.
The AC Hotel San Francisco Airport/Oyster Point Waterfront will feature 8,150 square feet of meeting space, including six rooms and capacity for up to 250 guests.
