Salamander Hotels & Resorts appointed Ty Brassie as director of sales & marketing to Hammock Beach Resort.

In his new role, Brassie will oversee the property’s sales and marketing strategies such as driving business, revenue and overall brand awareness to the resort.

As a veteran with more than two decades of extensive experience in the hospitality industry, Brassie brings with him a rich background in management, leadership and sales excellence. Most recently, he spent over two years at Carneros Resort and Spa in Napa, Calif., and Warner Center Marriott Hotel, Los Angeles, where he served as the director of sales and marketing.

Prior to this, Brassie served as the director of sales and marketing at five resort properties in numerous travel destinations such as Palm Springs, Calif., Fort Lauderdale and Freeport, Grand Bahama Island.

Brassie is an active member in various professional organizations, including the American Society of Association Executives and Meeting Professionals International.

Situated just south of historic St. Augustine, the 300-all-suite Hammock Beach Resort boasts two renowned and ranked golf courses designed by legends Jack Nicklaus and Tom Watson, multiple restaurants and bars, a multi-level pool complex and 50,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space.
