The Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club named David Tyler as director of sales & marketing.

In his new position he oversees the sales department and marketing programs for the AAA Four-Diamond resort.

Tyler comes to the resort Rumbling Bald Resort at Lake Lure in Asheville, N.C., where he served as director of sales & business development. His extensive experience also includes serving as administrator for the Sonas Home Care health care company in Naples; director of sales & marketing for The Atlantic Hotel & Spa in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and director of sales & marketing for Turnberry Associates Hotels & Resorts in Orlando.

Notably, Tyler also previously served as The Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club’s director of sales & marketing for five years, and as the resort’s assistant director of sales for three years. He is an active member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI), and has received such honors as Wyndham’s “Rising Star Award” and Marriott’s “Golden Circle Award” and “Super Star Award.”

The resort has spent more than $50 million in renovations and enhancements over the last few years. This included the dramatic renovation of its championship golf course. In addition, the 319-room resort features 34,000 square feet of flexible indoor meeting space and many outdoor and beachfront venues.
