GROUP: Los Angeles TCB
EVENT: ConferenceDirect Annual Partner Meeting: 20th Anniversary
DATE: March 25-29, 2018

In March 2018, Los Angeles welcomed over 200 ConferenceDirect associates who collectively represent over 50,000 in annual booked room nights for Los Angeles. The conference was an overwhelming success and took place March 25-29 2018.

The program began with the ConferenceDirect Associates spreading throughout the regions of Los Angeles. The four regional host hotels included The Hilton LAX, Hilton Universal, Omni and the Westin Bonaventure. Each regional hotel hosted a welcome reception unique to their area.

At the conclusion of each reception, the groups could choose to venture out into the local area and see sights including the following: The StrandHouse in Manhattan Beach, OUE Skyspace and Otium in Downtown, and Universal Studios in Hollywood.

After this regionally specific kick-off, the groups gathered for the start of the Annual Partner Meeting, which was headquartered at the Loews Hollywood Hotel. The Loews kept the excitement going and welcomed the group in true Hollywood style with a localized experience by recreating a Hollywood red carpet arrival complete with paparazzi, swag bags and a Joan Rivers impersonator as the associates arrived at the hotel. The Associates were able to feel like celebrities on the red carpet. They also had the option to snap a photo with the Minions from Universal Studios and to create a custom amenity bag from the amenity boutique presented by Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board.

The week was filled with non-stop networking and activations, including events around the city at the Beverly Hilton, Andaz West Hollywood, The Beverly Wilshire and the Dolby Ballroom.

As the event host, Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board helped welcome the group with a personalized video from Mayor Eric Garcetti at the All Partners General Session, and received the ConferenceDirect Partner Impact Award. The Final day concluded with a charity golf tournament hosted at Pacific Palms Resort.
