Lodging Hospitality Management (LHM) purchased the 299-room Marriott St. Louis West, adding to the company’s portfolio of 18 hotels in the St. Louis metropolitan area.

LHM Chairman and CEO, Bob O’Loughlin, said the company will invest up to $10 million for upgrades at the Marriott St. Louis West over the next two years. He added that the revitalization project will include room renovations, a new roof and other elements to increase the experience of guests.

"It's a strategic purchase," O'Loughlin said. "We own more than 5,000 hotel rooms in St. Louis and we are very bullish on the market. We try to be an important force in the ... Westport, Chesterfield and Downtown areas."
