India

Located in the heart of New Gurugram, Holiday Inn Gurugram Sector 90 will be the first Holiday Inn hotel in the city and the third in the Delhi-NCR area. Situated on a Multi Utility Corridor and offering easy access to major roads and the city center, the 263-room hotel is located approximately 45 minutes from Indira Gandhi International Airport, 30 mins from Gurugram's railway station and 30 mins from Huda City Centre Metro station.

Holiday Inn Gurugram Sector 90 is a part of a mixed-use development "V3S Sapphire 90" which offers retail, restaurants and more. The hotel offers an all-day dining restaurant, featuring a bar and lounge, that serves Asian, Indian, and Western cuisine with both buffet and à la carte offerings.

Located on the 16th floor, the modern Viva All Day Dining provides guests with an interactive dining experience and an urban and rejuvenating Aravali landscape view. The hotel also features banquet and meeting rooms spread across 5,500 square feet, a rooftop swimming pool and a 24-hour fitness center.

Oman

Deutsche Hospitality is expanding its presence in the Sultanate of Oman with the opening of a second hotel operating under the Intercity brand name—IntercityHotel Nizwa. The hotel is situated in Nizwa at the edge of the Hadschar mountain range and surrounded by the Nizwa Grand Mall and the Aqua Water Park.

The IntercityHotel Nizwa will offer 120 guest rooms and suites, a restaurant, a cafe and an Aqua Pool Bar. Health and beauty spa facilities will comprise a gym, a steam bath and a rooftop pool.

The hotel's ballroom will be able to accommodate up to 700 people and stage any kind of business event. Three combinable conference rooms will also provide additional options for meetings.

South Korea

Accor and sbe announced the first Mondrian hotel in Asia Pacific, Mondrian Seoul Itaewon, which marks the fifth property in the Mondrian portfolio.

Featuring 296 guestrooms, the hotel offers a range of dining and leisure spaces, including an outdoor pool, pool bar and Asia's first Cleo restaurant in the lobby, delivering the brand's well-known blend of Miami vibes and Mediterranean cuisine. A 2,844-square-foot ballroom with an integrated LED screen and five meeting rooms will be available for events.

With new hotels slated for Bordeaux and Cannes in France next year, the Mondrian brand expects to grow its lifestyle hotel portfolio to approximately 15 properties by 2022. Having welcomed guests to locations in Los Angeles, New York, South Beach and Doha, Mondrian Seoul Itaewon represents the brand's first expansion into Asia.

UAE

The Luxury Collection, part of Marriott International, Inc., recently opened Al Wathba Desert Resort & Spa, marking the debut of the portfolio in the UAE capital. Just a 30-minute drive from the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Al Wathba Desert Resort & Spa is located deep within the expansive landscape of Abu Dhabi.
