There are lots of tools and resources to help planners select sites for events and meetings. Recommending and/or selecting the ‘right fit’ is dependent on providing thorough information in RFPs/RFQs, how and through whom we send RFPs, what questions to ask and information to insist on being provided before we rank and rate our choices, and whether or not to conduct a site inspection.

Join Meetings Today and meetings industry educator Joan Eisenstodt, chief strategist for Eisenstodt Associates (, for this one-hour webinar that will help ensure think of all contingencies on your site inspection, before signing the contract.

By attending this webinar, attendees will learn the following:

  • How to identify best RFP practices.
  • How to establish questions to ask beyond rates, dates and space.
  • Determine how and when–or if–to conduct a site inspection, and what to do if you cannot.
  • How to establish criteria on which to base a decision before the RFP is sent and proposals received.

If you have specific questions before the webinar, please email Joan Eisenstodt at
