When webinar platforms and virtual events first emerged on the scene, I remember the cries of hysteria from our industry--fears that live, in person events were doomed to go the way of the rotary phone, replaced by newer technology. Clearly that hasn't happened, and we believe there will always be room for face to face meetings in the hearts and minds of our attendees.

He's made just about every mistake in the book when it comes to event marketing, and is passionate about sharing what he's learned along the way. When not at Cvent, he moonlights as a movie buff/craft beer enthusiast/open mic rock star, and is frequently found at karaoke night. Kevin graduated from the University of Virginia where he studied Psychology and Economics, and currently lives in Raleigh, NC.
