Starwood Launches New Meetings Website

Starwood Hotels & Resorts has launched a global website for meeting planners, starwoodmeetings.com.

The site offers the ability to research meeting facilities at more than 1,000 Starwood properties worldwide, with full hotel details, maps, photos, floor plans, details of onsite meeting services, and a ‘Compare View’ tool to compare facilities at different properties.

Information on Starwood’s MICE services, including Starwood Preferred Planner, Starwood Convention Collection, On-Site Specialty Events, and Starwood's sustainability CSR initiatives are also available.

“StarwoodMeetings.com was designed to increase the ease of doing business with Starwood,” said Christie Hicks, Senior Vice President of the Starwood Sales Organization. “We listened to feedback from our customers and developed a tool which gives them easy access to information they need throughout the planning cycle. We look forward to hearing our customer's feedback as we continue to evolve the site to meet the needs of meeting planners around the world.”

To mark the new site’s launch, Starwood will donate 500 Starwood Preferred Planner Starpoints to UNICEF for each unique site visitor between now and the end of April.
