CALGARY, Alberta, Canada

The Board of Directors of the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre (CTCC) announced the appointment of Clark Grue as the organization’s new president and CEO.

Grue was cofounder of Rainmaker Global Business Development Inc. and for the past nine years has led a team of professionals as they delivered strategic market expansion to global clients. Under Grue’s leadership, the CTCC said it looks forward to working with city partners and the business community to attract strategic events to Calgary in order to support further development and growth.

Heather Lundy, who assumed the role of interim general manager during the search process, will return to her position of director, marketing and communications with the CTCC.

The CTCC is located in the heart of downtown Calgary and offers 122,000 square feet of dedicated convention space, more than 47,000 square feet of exhibit space and 36 meeting rooms.
