On Monday, Oct. 2, 2017, Mandalay Bay Resort sent out a tweet asking for certified trauma counselors in order to help with counseling any guest or hotel employee affected by Sunday night’s mass shooting.

Mandalay Bay later tweeted out “Thank you for your generous outreach and support. We have enough counselors for today." The resort also shared details on how to get in touch with crisis counselors.

MGM Resorts International Chairman & CEO Jim Murren also took to Facebook to release an official statement on Monday in response to the Las Vegas shooting. The full statement is available here.

Select airlines, including Allegiant, United and America, have waived change fees at least through Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2017, with several airlines, such as Las Vegas-based Allegiant, waiving change fees all week.

Allegiant also said it would fly families of the Las Vegas shooting victims to the city for free.
