Embassy Suites Debuts in Downtown Phoenix

PHOENIX

Embassy Suites by Hilton opened its first hotel in downtown Phoenix, the 242-suite Embassy Suites by Hilton Phoenix Downtown North. The hotel is owned by Hospitality Ventures Management Group.

Embassy Suites by Hilton Phoenix Downtown North offers a central location to Phoenix’s financial, medical and cultural districts. Convenient to the Valley's finest shops, restaurants and art galleries, the property is just seven miles from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and two miles from the Phoenix Convention Center.

The hotel is also adjacent to the Thomas/Central Metro Light Rail Station, which provides access to Chase Field, Talking Stick Arena, Comerica Theater and the Arizona Science Center and Heard Museum.

Featuring two-room suites, the property provides free, cooked-to-order breakfast, free Wi-Fi and complimentary evening reception with drinks and snacks every night. Embassy Suites by Hilton Phoenix Downtown North also offers more than 4,350 square feet of meeting and event space for groups.

The property includes a fitness center and indoor heated pool. The on-site Salt River Tavern restaurant serves a variety of Americana fare for lunch and dinner, ranging from braised short ribs to beer chicken.

"With our centralized location in … downtown Phoenix and numerous amenities geared towards families and business travelers alike, we are confident [the hotel] quickly will take its place as the market and segment leader," said Brian Clark, general manager, Embassy Suites by Hilton Phoenix Downtown North.

Editor’s Note: The Embassy Suites by Hilton Phoenix Downtown North website mentions that some guest rooms and the pool and fitness area of the hotel—formerly a Hilton Suites property—are closed for renovations until Dec. 21.
