Courtyard by Marriott Opens in Downtown Boston

BOSTON, Mass.

The Courtyard by Marriott Boston Downtown/North Station opened its doors in downtown Boston. Situated just steps away from North Station and featuring a modern, sleek design, the new hotel has 220 guest rooms.

The new property is owned and operated by Turnberry Associates, a development and hospitality group known for its high-end luxury properties such as the Fontainebleau in Miami and the JW Marriott in Nashville.

The hotel offers convenient access to the city’s favorite attractions. It is only a short walk from Boston’s historic Faneuil Hall and North End neighborhoods and nearby TD Garden, home to Boston’s sporting events and concerts.

“We are delighted to be opening our doors in Boston and are eager to become part of a neighborhood that is so rich with history,” said Natasha Casillo, general manager of the Courtyard by Marriott Boston Downtown/North Station. “This will be the first Turnberry Associates property in the Northeast and we are excited to provide travelers to Boston with award-winning hospitality paired with an urban chic Courtyard Marriott experience.”

The lobby is home to the hotel’s Bistro, and differentiating this property from the rest of the Marriott Courtyard brand, is that it houses a cozy 13 seat lobby bar. Crafted with custom tile and chic blackened metal, the bar will serve specialty cocktails, beer, and wine.

The property offers two function rooms with over 2,500 square feet of meeting space to accommodate functions of up to 130 people. There is also a 24-hour fitness center, guest laundry services and the Market, a 24/7 shop for snacks, beverages, and sundries.
