The Westin Anaheim Resort is a new hotel slated to open October 2020 and is the brand’s first new build in Southern California in more than 25 years. Situated in the heart of the Anaheim Resort District, The Westin Anaheim is steps away from some of Southern California’s most popular attractions, including Disneyland Resort, Angel Stadium of Anaheim, the Honda Center and the Anaheim Convention Center.
Featuring a modern design that was inspired by Anaheim’s historic orange grove roots before Disneyland opened in 1955, The Westin Anaheim will boast 618 guest rooms and suites. Its 23 event rooms and 18 breakout spaces, named after historic Anaheim orange brand labels, total over 47,000 square feet, and include a 16,120-square-foot grand Anabella Ballroom.
The hotel will offer guests seven varying culinary experiences throughout the property, from grab-and-go to fine dining. The RISE Rooftop Lounge, for example, is Anaheim’s only exclusive rooftop bar (for hotel guests only) and will offer tapas-style dining and handcrafted cocktails. Guests can enjoy Disneyland firework views without the crowds from RISE’s rooftop bar which also overlooks Disney California Adventure’s signature Roller Coaster and Ferris Wheel.
Offering tranquil views of Monterey Bay, the 156-room Chaminade Resort & Spa also recently celebrated the completion of an extensive transformation that restored the integrity of the property’s 1930’s iconic Spanish Revival architecture. The 300-acre mountaintop retreat is just minutes from the Santa Cruz Boardwalk and beaches and offers an abundance of outdoor leisure and recreational amenities.

Chaminade Resort & Spa’s nearly 12,000 square-feet of flexible meeting space and event venues, along with its expansive outdoor spaces, were included in the overall transformation following the same classic Spanish interior design styles and patterns. A new 2,800 square-foot ballroom was created by combining two rooms into the new Seascape Ballroom, which features two sets of French doors opening onto the landscaped courtyard and fireside patio with bay views.
Those who enjoy road trip travel and prefer outdoor venues can now book stays for groups at Yonder Escalante, a new camping and lodging experience located within the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument in southern Utah. Opening Sept. 15, the park features 10 custom Airstreams, 22 modern cabin and 67 RV camping sites.

The property features 2,000 square feet of communal space ideal for meetings and events, along with an Anacapa Architects designed clubhouse and bathhouse, General Store, “drive-in” movie theater, bonfire pits for late night gatherings and more. Yonder is a roughly 5-hour drive from Salt Lake City and Las Vegas and a 7.5-hour drive from Phoenix.
