Florida

Hotel ELEO at the University of Florida is officially open and now offers easy access to the culturally rich college town of Gainesville. The six-story boutique hotel features 173 guestrooms and is within walking distance to restaurants, galleries, theaters, stadiums on the University of Florida campus and UF Health, and the University of Florida’s academic health center.

For corporate guests, Hotel ELEO pairs the functionality of tech-forward meeting space with elevated dining options. The 1,100 square feet of meeting space accommodates up to 180 guests reception style and can be equally divided by an air-wall, creating two separate rooms ideal for smaller corporate events and social functions.

The hotel’s restaurant, Covey Kitchen + Cocktails, is located across from the meeting space and offers additional options for events, including a private dining alcove that seats 10, 1,440 square feet of indoor dining space that accommodate 96 guests and an outdoor terrace.

Naples Hotel Group also recently announced that the Hampton Inn Clewiston doors are now open. The three-story Clewiston hotel has 86 guest rooms that feature classic amenities such as a mobile desk, coffee maker and mini-refrigerator.

The Hampton Inn Clewiston offers 1,248 square feet of meeting and event space available for rental. Guests can also enjoy the complimentary fitness center or the outdoor pool and patio area.

Clewiston is adjacent to Lake Okeechobee, the largest freshwater lake in the state known as Florida's Inland Sea. Visitors can experience Florida's best freshwater fishing, hiking and biking trails, as well as guided tours of the area.

Georgia

The Kessler Collection’s Plant Riverside District – the largest redevelopment in the history of Savannah’s National Historic Landmark District – has officially opened as “Savannah’s Entertainment District,” a $375 million project expanding the city’s iconic riverfront to a 4.5-acre waterfront hospitality and entertainment destination, anchored by the 419-room JW Marriott Savannah hotel.

Plant Riverside District features more than a dozen restaurants and lounges, and visitors also have access to an art gallery, riverfront park honoring Martin Luther King Jr. and natural science exhibits for all ages.

The entertainment destination is Savannah’s fifth official district and allows guests to experience two hotels within the JW Marriott Savannah for a customized atmosphere to match their style: romantic and elegant vibes in the Three Muses building and historic chic architecture in the Power Plant building. With over 18,000 square feet of event space, the District has spaces to suit any event needs.

The area will continue to see further developments in Fall 2020 and Spring 2021, including the addition of a third mixed-use hotel building and a concert venue.

Tennessee

Reharmonizing the downtown area, the sophisticated Grand Hyatt Nashville hotel is opening in the historic Nashville Yards 18-acre development this September. The 591-room luxury hotel will offer 53 suites with soundproof floor-to-ceiling windows and is within walking distance from the Gulch and Midtown. It includes seven restaurants and also boasts the tallest outdoor rooftop bar in Music City.

Grand Hyatt Nashville’s 77,000 square feet of meeting and event spaces range from private boardrooms to expansive ballrooms. Over 15,000 square feet of pre-function space is available, along with 32 separate meeting and board rooms of various sizes and shapes, and an 1,100-square-foot covered outdoor terrace with west-facing views of downtown Nashville. Nearly all of the property’s meeting and event spaces feature theatrical, floor-to-ceiling windows with sweeping city views.
