Part of the Marriott International’s Tribute Portfolio, The Sessions Hotel is now open in Bristol, VA. Designed by Interior Image Group (IIG), the design concept tells the story of the 1927 Bristol Sessions, a set of historic country music recordings that marked Bristol as the birthplace of country music.

Initially composed of three separate buildings—a grain mill, a candy factory and a grocery building—IIG transformed the sites into one cohesive, 70-room boutique hotel that honors the property’s storied past. Historical characteristics like a Victrola vintage record player can be found throughout the 178,000-square-foot hotel’s guestrooms, corridors and main lobby.
