Following a $65 million renovation deemed the most comprehensive project Myrtle Beach’s hotels and resorts have seen in more than five years, Kingston Resorts now welcomes guests to fully updated rooms, suites and meeting/event space at Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort and Embassy Suites by Hilton Myrtle Beach Oceanfront Resort, completing this summer with a new restaurant, pool and two waterparks. The leading multi-property beachfront resort destination was recently acquired by EOS Hospitality

“The updates we’ve made to Kingston Resorts and are finalizing this summer completely enhance the offerings travelers can now choose from when visiting Myrtle Beach,” said Bob Barenberg, managing director of Kingston Resorts. “There truly isn’t another resort experience like ours in the destination and we’re proud to be a leader here.”

The oceanfront Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort has finished a complete refresh of rooms, suites, event space, dining outlets and pool experience. Business and leisure guests are now greeted with interiors adorned in hues of cool gray and warm neutrals accented by natural wood textures. Featuring all new furniture, flooring, paint and decor, rooms comfortably accommodate with unobstructed views of the Atlantic. Additionally, the hotel’s outdoor dining and pool space has been completely updated with a lively island-centric vibe at the Wet Whistle Pool Bar and elevated alfresco dining at Beachcombers, where guests play games like oversized chess, connect four and shuffleboard.

Offering 56,579 square feet of meeting space spanning across 24 rooms, Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort’s renovated space serves as the perfect backdrop for all kinds of events, from company retreats to corporate conferences. Suitable for groups up to 1,000 guests, the hotel welcomes meeting planners with an array of functional space options both indoors and outdoors, including a top floor ballroom that overlooks the ocean.

Embassy Suites Myrtle Beach has completed updates to its suites, event and activity spaces. Coastal modern design decorates each of the refreshed suites, all of which feature two rooms with a living space and pull-out couch that immediately turns a weekend away into a comfortable, homey respite set against waterfront views. Featuring 61,165 square feet of event space and 30 meeting rooms, the property plays host to a variety of corporate occasions, featuring a pillarless Kensington Ballroom expansive enough to accommodate 2,000 people, and climate-controlled pavilions perfect for outdoor receptions.

A fresh concept opening at Embassy Suites Myrtle Beach in Summer 2022, Black Drum Brewing will offer waterfront dining overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Featuring coastal Carolina cuisine, the restaurant will boast an industrial modern design with hints of nautical decor, high vaulted ceilings with exposed beams and floor to ceiling windows throughout to ensure a constant gesture of ocean breeze. Serving as a fresh locale for hosting a variety of events, Black Drum Brewing will house an upstairs ballroom space with a terrace and two event lawns, perfect for business luncheons, weddings, family reunions and more.

The final phase of Kingston Resorts’ renovation, Currents Seaside Entertainment, will open alongside Black Drum Brewing, featuring a grand pool outfitted with 28 cabanas and 350 lounge chairs, in addition to two Currents Waterparks with slides and dunk buckets.
