Visit Panama City Beach has selected Steve Bailey as its new vice president of sales. Bailey, a native of Panama City, joins the company having previously worked as director of sales and operations for a local hospitality group for over 20 years.
“I am honored to join the incredible team at Visit Panama City Beach,” Bailey said. “As vice president of sales for the destination, I look forward to representing my hometown and further elevating Panama City Beach’s group meetings and conventions initiatives.”
An industry veteran, Bailey has garnered extensive experience in the restaurant, hospitality and tourism sectors. In addition to Panama City, he brings years of experience from locations such as Destin, Florida, Jackson, Mississippi and Birmingham, Alabama.
Bailey graduated from the University of Alabama and the Bert Rodgers Real Estate School and serves on the board of directors of the Children's Home Society, Leadership Bay, Panama City Beach Chamber, Bay County Chamber of Commerce, and is a past board member and chairman for the Bay County Tourist Development Council.
