Marriott International

The largest hotel company in the world consistently opens new hotels at a rapid clip. Marriott’s investment in Mexico is no exception.

“The Marriott portfolio has been steadily expanding in Mexico for quite some time and is expected to continue growing, with currently over 40 projects in the pipeline,” said Louise Bang, regional vice president, sales and distribution for Marriott in the Caribbean, Mexico and Latin America. “Following a similar trend in the U.S. of visiting so-called second cities, I expect to see increased interest in towns like Guadalajara, Puebla, Merida and Guanajuato, among others, that provide visitors with unique historical and cultural experiences. With the growing Marriott portfolio in Mexico, Marriott Bonvoy travelers will increasingly be able to find their home away from home in more destinations across the country.”
