The new Four Seasons Resort Tamarindo, Mexico is now accepting reservations ahead of its anticipated opening late this year. With equal commitments to the preservation of natural landscape, celebration of Mexico’s heritage and offering luxury travel experiences, Four Seasons Resort Tamarindo serves as “a tribute to Mexico.”

The 157-room resort in Jalisco is tucked away in a secluded nature reserve between the jungle and the Pacific Ocean on a private peninsula. A number of the resort’s accommodations will feature private pools, and guests can enjoy four restaurants and bars, a golf course and a spa and wellness experience.

Four Seasons Resort Tamarindo, Mexico offers 3,746 square feet of total indoor event space, including the Tenacatita Ballroom, with a banquet capacity of 180 guests and reception capacity of 230, and smaller breakout rooms. Outdoor venues include the Melaque Lawn, a 4,488-square-foot space capable of hosting up to 350 guests, and Majahua Beach, ideal for a cocktail reception of 120 people or fewer.

This year, Mills House Hotel is undergoing an extensive multimillion-dollar renovation of all guest rooms and suites, common areas, pool deck, culinary outlets and more.

Surrounded by cobblestone streets, pastel houses and horse-drawn carriages, the 216-room hotel invites guests to experience true southern elegance, charm and style in the heart of the aesthetically pleasing city of Charleston.  

Offering some of the oldest suit-and-tie event venues in Charleston, Mills House Hotel offers 10,000 square feet of meetings and events space in the Signers Ballroom, Hibernian Hall—located in the adjacent building—and smaller breakout rooms.

The 2,485-square-foot Signers Ballroom can accommodate up to 350 guests, while the smaller Planters Suite, a 976-square-foot space, is more suitable for a gathering of 130 guests or fewer. The 2,625-square-foot Barbadoes area opens to the Mills House Hotel’s Charleston Courtyard featuring views of its centerpiece 19th-century fountain.

Marriott Columbia announced the recent completion of all its 300 guest rooms and suites renovations, which mirror the richness of Columbia’s first neighborhood from its history to its culture, as well as the natural and metropolitan dynamics of the city.

The complete redesign includes entirely new furniture and furnishings, as well as a contemporary and upscale twist to reflect the Marriott’s brand’s modern aesthetic. Guest rooms showcase city views of the Columbia Art Museum, Arsenal Hall and Historic Main Street, all within walking distance from Marriott Columbia’s downtown location. 

Marriott Columbia can accommodate up to 700 guests for a theater-style conference in its largest venue, the 6,630-square-foot Carolina Ballroom, and also has access to 17,896 square feet of event space at The Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center downtown.

Stay at The Fraye

New to Nashville’s lively Midtown neighborhood is Hotel Fraye Nashville Midtown, Curio Collection by Hilton, a 200-room property encompassing a signature ground-floor restaurant and lobby, rooftop bar and lounge, a cabana-clad pool and a fitness center featuring Peloton technology and a yoga studio.

The hotel “for those who prefer to write their own story” features industrial accents including concrete high ceilings, exposed brick and minimalist metal furnishings with lavish décor. The hotel’s seventh floor offers nearly 6,000 square feet of meetings and event space, including an outdoor terrace with a unique city view, and another five meeting rooms, the largest measuring 3,075 square feet, are available for booking.

Hotel Fraye features two F&B concepts with all-day dining options: Gathre, a modern restaurant in Nashville with a menu including Yankee corn bread, smoked duck mac ‘n’ cheese and brown sugar brussels, and Eddie Ate Dynamite (EAD), an indoor-outdoor rooftop lounge boasting Gatsby-era décor and cocktails.
