The Driskill Names Adreanne Lewis Director of Sales, Events and Marketing

Adreanne Lewis

Austin, Texas’ historic hotel, The Driskill, announced the appointment of Adreanne Lewis as director of sales, events and marketing, leading the sales and marketing team working on behalf of the 137-year-old property.

Working closely with General Manager Markus Puereschitz, Lewis will be responsible for managing The Driskill’s sales and meeting spaces for conferences, events and weddings while ensuring the highest quality experience for guests and customers through curated events, activations and brand partnerships throughout the year.

Lewis will also work to accelerate The Driskill's position within the Austin marketplace through prioritization of creative problem solving and collaboration with stakeholders.

“Since working in the hospitality industry for over a decade, I am honored to steward a property as historic as The Driskill,” Lewis said of her new role in a press release. “The hotel serves as an iconic symbol of Austin past and present, and I look forward to further broadening The Driskill’s prestige as a beacon of true Texan hospitality.”

Lewis brings “Austin-centric” knowledge to The Driskill following her time as director of event sales and services at the Fairmont Austin, where she successfully helped lead the pre-opening team of Austin’s largest hotel in 2018 and later spearheaded the hotel’s event strategy, revenue growth and community partnerships for the company. She began her hospitality career serving seven years as the senior catering sales manager at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Seattle.
