  • Slated for a 2017 opening, NEO Brussels (www.neobrussels.com) is a massive mixed-use development under construction on the edge of the capital city. At the heart of NEO Brussels is a convention center for 3,500 delegates, more than 500 hotel rooms, a 15,000-seat concert hall and a new state-of-the-art exhibition hall. Designed to be a vibrant part of Brussels whether a meeting is in town or not, 750 private residences, a shopping center and a plethora of restaurants and cafes round out the project.

  • The Hotel Brussels (www.thehotel-brussels.be/default-en.html) opened in 2011 with 433 guest rooms, 20 flexible meeting rooms with natural daylight, two boardrooms and a fully equipped business center. The largest meeting room has space for 450 attendees theater-style and 600 for a cocktail party.

  • The Thon Hotel (www.thonhotels.com) opened in Brussels in April. The property has 405 guest rooms and 10 conference and meeting rooms, the largest of which can accommodate 300 people theater-style.

  • Conrad Brussels (www.conradhotels.com) finished a renovation of 130 “Signature Rooms” in September. The project upgraded the decor and amenities in each of the guest rooms, which measure at least 450 square feet. The property’s grand ballroom can hold up to 800 people.

  • Le Meridien Brussels (www.starwoodhotels.com) renovated guest rooms on the second and fourth floor of the hotel last year. The property has 224 guest rooms and 22 meeting rooms, including a Cisco TelePresence suite for virtual meetings and a banquet hall that measures 14,000 square feet.
