Checking In - Helping Hands

I’m especially fond of a couple features in this edition: our pieces on corporate social responsibility (CSR) and contingency planning. It’s definitely news you can use—and could save a life!

Check out our “Taking Responsibility” story to see how groups are gathering for the common good, and also for a great case study on how a planner helped the youth of Maui. It’s really incredible to think of the positive influence meeting delegates can have when they band together. Also, visit MeetingsFocus.com to sign up for our free “CSR: Creating Positive Results” webinar Jan. 25.

Our contingency planning story features a great real-life example of how a major resort coped with a historic flood, and also offers solid tips and resources to help prepare your organization to deal with most any potential calamity.
