Checking In - Foodie Fiesta!

San Antonio is one of those destinations that's just plain fun to meet in, from the people-watching along the River Walk and social events in the quaint and quirky La Villita section of town to the myriad attractions and rolling Texas Hill Country farther out.

And, of course, the history and solemnity of the Alamo only add depth to the experience of visiting San Antone.

Our cover story this issue, beginning on page 14, digs into a plate full of San Antonio restaurants offering a "Flavor Fiesta" for foodies.

Penned by one of our best writers, and Texas meeting expert, Jeff Heilman—he's written more than 100 stories for us!—you may want to have some snacks at the ready when you jump in to read it, as I'm sure your mouth will be watering at all of the options.
