PROVIDENCE, R.I.
The Providence Biltmore, a landmark hotel in downtown Providence, has completed a full property guest room renovation designed to bring back the authentic character of the hotel while adding the most desirable contemporary amenities.
Under the direction of Parker-Torres, an international design firm, the historic hotel's 294 guest rooms and guest corridors have been transformed with a rich color palette, luxurious dark wood finishes, and unique furnishings. The mix of luxury and functionality is the perfect balance for business and leisure travelers alike. New features include the exclusive, custom made king sized Biltmore Bed in every room.
"The Biltmore is an iconic landmark cherished by the city and generations of visitors," said Todd Finard, CEO of Finard Properties, the hotel's owner and operator. "We've orchestrated this renovation with great respect for the essence of the hotel, while creating spaces that satisfy the sensibilities and needs of today's travelers."
Spacious executive suites, all complete with cityscape views and well-lit workstations, have been custom designed for business travelers. Recently updated meeting and conference areas filled with natural light and views of downtown Providence provide the perfect backdrop for all corporate meeting and function needs.
The Providence Biltmore's legendary rooftop Grand Ballroom and meeting spaces, recognized among the most-coveted destinations in the city for social and business gatherings, have already been restored and made more glamorous.
As part of the $13 million renovation, the hotel will undergo renovations to the lobby and function rooms in late 2014, creating a fresh and sophisticated look while maintaining the timeless elegance of the Biltmore.
The Providence Biltmore is located at 11 Dorrance Street, Providence, Rhode Island, 02903. For more information about the hotel, visit online at www.providencebiltmore.com.
