LOS ANGELES
The London West Hollywood, a luxury hotel located beneath Sunset Boulevard, announced the first phase of its $23 million renovation project. The redesign will feature new suites on the ninth floor and a new 2,600-square-foot fitness center, set to debut in September.
The London’s five new specialty suites, measuring between 1,425 and 1,975 square feet, will take their names from the five gates that act as entrances to Hyde Park in London, incorporating aristocratic design elements and amenities.
The 200-key hotel hosts numerous private events, and caters to the privacy needs of press junkets, corporate functions and celebrity clients. The property can accommodate 250 guests for a seated dinner, or 750 for a red carpet event. It also accomodates business meetings.
Venue highlights include the 3,960-square-foot Kensington Ballroom and a 3,800-square-foot roof deck on the 10th floor, with cabanas, an outdoor pool and skyline views.
