3 Cultural Experiences for Groups at Hyatt Regency Tamaya

Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa debuted an experiential meeting program that incorporates local culture. Its new group experience package offers a choice of three cultural activities.

“Located on and owned by the Santa Ana Pueblo, Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa showcases centuries-old history and tradition interwoven throughout the Tamaya experience,” said Hyatt Regency Tamaya General Manager Herb Rackliff. “With a wide array of one-of-a-kind, immersive activities available on-site, we can offer completely unique programs for our group guests.”

The three group experiences available at the resort include:

  • A marketplace where local artists exhibit their handmade arts and crafts in the resort’s Plaza of the Generations as well as a traditional corn necklace greeting.
  • A traditional Native American dance or flute performance at the welcome reception.
  • “Storytelling Under the Stars,” demonstration of centuries old oral history.

Planners can also add wellness options to the meeting agenda, like a group meditation class or a pop-up hand and arm massage station during a break. Immersive volunteer and equestrian opportunities are also available through the on-site Tamaya Horse Rehabilitation Program.
