Visit San Antonio will re-welcome two veteran industry professionals, Summer Davey and Alysia Roden, to the DMO’s sales team later this month.

Previously, Davey spent nearly two decades in multiple sales roles, including assistant director of sales and director of Mid-Atlantic sales at Visit San Antonio. She returns to the Alamo City team from the Mid-Atlantic Region at New Orleans & Company, where she held a regional account executive position and played a pivotal role in driving convention business and growth in key East Coast markets.

Davey will be stepping into the director of citywide sales role effective September 29. Her return signals a renewed commitment to building the DMO’s presence in the meetings and events industry.

Alysia Roden will join Davey on the sales team, effective September 22. Roden will return to San Antonio from Visit Austin, where she was the vice president of sales. Visit San Antonio said Roden’s return will bring experience in tourism, destination sales and a deep understanding to the San Antonio market.

“We couldn’t be more excited to announce the return of two top-level sales pros with Summer and Alysia to San Antonio,” President and CEO Mario Bass said in a press release.
