The Renaissance Chicago North Shore Hotel completed a property-wide renovation that includes a full refresh of its guest rooms, public spaces, meeting venues and exterior. Located close to the Chicago Botanic Garden and Ravinia Park, the hotel originally began the redesign in 2020 and was completed in two major phases.
The property offers over 20,000 square feet of event space across 19 venues, with the largest venue being the 4,018-square-foot Northbrook Ballroom able to accommodate up to 500 attendees. The Renaissance Chicago North Shore Hotel also has nine onsite restaurants, a fitness center, spa and an outdoor pool.
Kansas
Margaritaville Hotel Kansas City is a newly opened resort-style hotel in Kansas City, Kansas, that features 228 guest rooms and suites, indoor and outdoor pools, four onsite restaurants and bars, and over 13,000 square feet of meeting and event space.
Margaritaville Hotel Kansas City offers 10 event spaces, including the 3,900-square-foot Main Ballroom, the 2,677-square-foot Junior Ballroom and a 1,932-square-foot outdoor patio space. The property is also located near attractions such as the Kansas Speedway, Hollywood Casino and Homefield KCK Showcase Center.

Ohio
Last year, the Duke Energy Convention Center in Cincinnati began a $264 million renovation project that will debut January 2026. The reimagined convention center will feature modernized meeting rooms, upgraded ballrooms and a renovated exhibit hall and prefunction space.
Along with the convention center initiative, the city announced a $536 million Marriott headquarters hotel set to open in 2028. The hotel will offer 700 guest rooms, an onsite restaurant and bar, a skywalk connecting the hotel to the convention center and 62,000 square feet of meeting space with a 17,000-square-foot events terrace.
