Sheraton New Orleans announced Ingrid Chaves as its new general manager October 30. She will be responsible for all aspects of the hotel’s operations and guest experience.
Chaves comes to Sheraton New Orleans from Orlando World Center Marriott, where she achieved record-breaking results in guest satisfaction and revenue growth.
“I’m thrilled to join Sheraton New Orleans and to be part of a city so rich in culture, hospitality and heart,” Chaves said. “New Orleans’ vibrancy and warmth mirror the experience we strive to create for every guest, and I’m excited to lead our team in bringing that to life each day.”

Sheraton, a Marriott brand, tagged Chaves for the role because of her experience working for Marriott International in Costa Rica, Peru, the U.S. and the Caribbean. Chaves has spent more than 20 years working for Marriott properties.
