The Vinoy Resort & Golf Club, Autograph Collection announced a new general manager, William (Bill) Bunce. He will oversee all day-to-day operations and continue to elevate the guest experience.
The 354-room resort opened in 1925 and is approaching its 100th anniversary. The luxury property is the only one of its kind on Florida’s west coast. As Bunce transitions into his new role, he is committed to preserving the resort’s nearly century-long legacy by providing world-class service.

Bunce was tagged for his 25 years of experience working for a variety of Marriott International properties, including W Boston Hotel, W New York–Times Square and W New York–Union Square.
Most recently, he served as general manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Boston. In his time there, he led a comprehensive renovation and strategic market reposition.

I’ve visited this area with my family for many years, and when the opportunity arose to bring my experience in luxury hospitality to The Vinoy, I knew it was the perfect fit,” Bunce said. “I’m excited to help lead the resort, golf club and marina and contribute to the exceptional guest experience The Vinoy is known for."
