Set directly across from Caesars Palace on Las Vegas Boulevard, the property formerly known The Cromwell has been completely overhauled to become The Vanderpump Hotel. Caesars Entertainment, which operates the property, announced in late March that group bookings can now be made for The Vanderpump, which is set to open its doors on May 26.

The property, with 167 guest rooms plus 21 suites, “introduces a new kind of boutique experience for meeting and event professionals—one that blends high design, intimate scale and exclusive VIP programming for groups seeking something distinctly elevated on the Las Vegas Strip and in proximity to CAESARS FORUM,” according to a Caesars Entertainment media release.

hotel roomLisa Vanderpump, a British restaurateur and host of restaurant-focused television show Vanderpump Rules, lends both her name and stylistic sensibility to the new hotel. Along with business partner Nick Alain, she uses an “industrial romantic” design throughout, featuring a mix of moss-green hues and touches of dusty lilac, creating a soothing palette with soft textures that encourage relaxation. Mixed metals, from warm gold accents to cool silver detailing, bring depth and elegance to the spaces, while reflective furnishings help the guest rooms feel open, airy and expansive. Vanderpump will also hand-select room amenities for guests.

Besides the guest rooms, Vanderpump extended her signature aesthetic to the reception and check-in area, common areas and an all-new lounge that groups up to 100 can secure for gatherings.

The Vanderpump also features Soleia, which was formerly Drai’s Beachclub & Nightclub, the site of many meetings-industry receptions for IMEX America and other big shows. The 65,000-square-foot indoor-outdoor rooftop venue now serves as both the resort pool during the day and as a dedicated event space offering sweeping 11th-floor views of Bellagio, Paris Las Vegas, The Cosmopolitan, Caesars Palace and more on the Strip.

In the basement of the property, Drai's After Hours remains as an iconic Las Vegas late-night institution, an intimate, 11,000-square-foot lounge.

While Lisa Vanderpump has several restaurants and lounges in Hollywood, Las Vegas and Lake Tahoe, the new hotel features Giada restaurant from Giada De Laurentiis, with an Italian menu that’s light, elegant, and meticulously crafted.

Overall, “Our vision was to create what feels like a true retreat, a calming escape just steps from the energy and excitement of the casino floor,” said Lisa Vanderpump. “The guest rooms are as beautiful as they are serene.”

“We are beyond excited to welcome The Vanderpump Hotel into our Las Vegas portfolio. Its unique design and elevated hospitality will deliver a completely new experience that is unmistakably Lisa Vanderpump—an exceptional entrepreneur and visionary restaurateur,” said Kelly Gleeson Smith, senior vice president of sales at Caesars Entertainment.

“With Soleia set atop this new boutique hotel, our clients gain even more opportunities to wow their attendees and create lasting impressions. This is exactly why our signature one contract, one contact approach is so effective: It empowers planners to be creative across our entire Las Vegas portfolio.”
