Congress Hall, which markets itself as “America’s first seaside hotel,” underwent a renovation earlier this year. The hotel, which was originally established in 1816, is defined by its Victorian architecture. Its 106 guestrooms are modeled after American heritage and feature brass hardware and hand-dyed linen. Located right across from Cape May beach, Congress Hall is a product of Cape Resorts’ properties, which also include Beach Plum Farm and The Virginia Hotel, all a short drive from Philadelphia; Washington, D.C.; and New York City.

Other amenities at the hotel include five dining options, beach and pool service, fitness classes, a full-service Sea Spa and a bike shop for rentals.

voco Times Square – Broadway emerged in February, joining two other voco properties in New York City. The Times Square location makes its mark as IHG’s largest voco property in the Americas. The 32-story, 419-room hotel draws inspiration from New York City’s Prohibition-era speakeasies. The lobby was thoughtfully designed with an atmosphere reminiscent of the Jazz Age. The hotel overlooks Times Square and is located close to Radio City Music Hall, the Museum of Modern Art and the Empire State Building.

The 2,400-square-foot hybrid rooftop serves as a flexible space for private events and group gatherings. Another option for groups is an 800-square-foot private dining room—Carnegie Diner and Cafe. Lobby Bar and Cafe is a third dining option available for guests.

Welcome the World (of Blue)

World of Blue guest room

As East Rutherford, New Jersey, prepares to welcome the world for the FIFA World Cup, the new World of Blue hotel officially put its rooms on the market. The property offers views of MetLife Stadium, the sporting venue that will host eight matches during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, including the final on Sunday, July 19.

The World Cup-driven advancements at the property include a $100 million comprehensive transformation to the newly rebranded hotel, which takes the place of the former Hilton Hotel in East Rutherford. Following the rebrand, World of Blue will hit the market as a distinctive, independent, non-flag hotel destination. The 425-room hotel will see renovations to its guest rooms, corridors and meeting spaces. The redesign will also include elevated food and beverage concepts, a luxury spa and fitness center. Meetings offerings at the hotel include six ballrooms that total 35,000 square feet of space. The largest ballroom is suitable for 2,500 guests.
