The Clift Royal Sonesta Hotel announced Dania Duke is stepping into the role of general manager at the San Francsico property.
Duke has 30 years of experience in hospitality leadership. She previously held senior leadership positions at Hyatt, Hilton, Marriott and Margaritaville. Her expertise includes revenue optimization, guest experience, F&B operations and elevating service standards.
“Dania is an accomplished hospitality leader whose vision, energy and operational expertise make her uniquely suited to lead The Clift into its next chapter,” said Ryan Frederick, regional vice president, operations, West for Sonesta International Hotels, in a press release. “Her passion for people, service and innovation aligns perfectly with the spirit of this historic property and our commitment to creating memorable experiences for every guest.”

In her new role, Duke is hoping to strengthen guest satisfaction and drive market performance. Under Duke’s leadership, the 372-room hotel will continue to focus on elevating guest experience, enhancing its food and beverage offerings and reinforcing the Redwood Room’s legacy as a celebrated gathering place since its opening in 1933.
