5 Outdoor Venues for Memorable Meetings in Coastal Mexico

Caletas, Hotel Xcaret México

In coastal destinations across Mexico from the Caribbean to the Pacific, the most memorable meetings aren’t happening in ballrooms. They’re unfolding in whimsical garden courtyards, set along secluded white-sand shorelines or taking place atop terraces with uninterrupted ocean views.

Coastal Mexico’s warm weather and picturesque landscapes have always been a draw for groups looking to catch a little sun or socialize beneath the stars. An increasingly sophisticated approach to outdoor venue design across the region is making meetings and incentive programs even more seamless, without sacrificing budget, production value or scalability.

The destination delivers something distinctly local, and planners can create engaging, immersive and memorable experiences from coast to coast—no ballroom required.

Here are five outdoor venues that will make your next meeting in Coastal Mexico memorable.

Caletas, Hotel Xcaret México

Set along the coastline at Hotel Xcaret México in the heart of the Riviera Maya, Caletas offers an open-air setting that elevates the destination’s natural beauty, boasting panoramic views, a relaxed yet luxurious atmosphere and a strong sense of place. The venue is well suited for welcome receptions, networking events and private dinners with sunset views.

What makes Caletas stand out, according to Group Xcaret, is not only its scenic outdoor setting, but the way it allows groups to experience coastal Mexico in an immersive, memorable and distinctly Xcaret way—one that is authentic to the destination and its culture.

“At Xcaret, we believe the destination itself should elevate the event,” said Manuel Saracho, corporate director of group sales, Group Xcaret. “Our venues are designed not only to host meetings and celebrations, but to immerse groups in the beauty, energy and cultural richness of coastal Mexico, creating experiences that go far beyond the traditional conference setting.”

The space offers a wide beach setting with views of both sides of Bahía de Banderas, a  bay on the Pacific Coast, and stunning sunsets.

Terraza Fahrenheit, Paradisus Cancun

With a capacity of 200 guests and open views of the Caribbean Sea, the 2,075-square-foot Fahrenheit poolside terrace stands out as a highly versatile venue designed for informal yet elevated gatherings at the newly renovated Paradisus Cancun, a Meliá Hotels International property with 773 reimagined suites.

Fahrenheit’s layout allows for seamless setups including lounge-style seating, pool interaction and bar service, creating a fluid environment ideal for cocktails, sunset networking events, welcome receptions and post-meeting activations.
