PHI Hotel Group announced the opening of The Westin Calgary Airport. The 247-room hotel boasts a 30,000-square-foot conference center.
“The Westin Calgary Airport Hotel and Conference Centre, and particularly the capacity of the meeting space will fill a gap in the Calgary airport area, better serving the meeting and convention segment,” said Sukhi Rai, president of PHI Hotel Group.
The property is near the Calgary International Airport and offers guest convenient access to the Calgary Exhibition and Stampede, TELUS Spark and the Calgary Tower.
The Westin Calgary Airport has 247 guest rooms with either one king or two queen Heavenly Beds and provides Heavenly Bath and Sleep Well amenities. The five-story hotel also offers 17 one-bedroom suites featuring a jetted-tub and separate rain-fall shower. Guest rooms feature a variety of views including downtown Calgary, Calgary International Airport and Nose Hill.
The property features the largest hotel attached ballroom at over 16,000 square feet. The ballroom can accommodate large trade shows, conferences and social events.
Other hotel conveniences include an indoor swimming pool and whirlpool spa, a 24/7 Westin WORKOUT studio and the 671 Kitchen & Bar that is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
