Ashley Shimer was named convention sales manager of the Vancouver USA Regional Tourism Office. Shimer will be responsible for selling both the sports and government markets.
The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles and the JW Marriott Los Angeles at L.A. LIVE appointed William Buckley director of sales and marketing for the two properties. Buckley was previously director of sales at the Anaheim Marriott.
