The Chicago Convention & Tourism Board hired Michael Tarr, formerly with the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority, to serve as its vice president, convention sales.
Tarr, who replaces Mark Theis who resigned earlier this year, served in sales manager positions with LVCVA for 11 years.
