METREON—a recently renovated mall in downtown San Francisco—has upgraded City View, its event venue. The refreshed space offers panoramic views, 18,000 square feet of indoor meeting space and a 12,000 square foot outdoor terrace.
“City View is cosmopolitan, contemporary and convenient,” said Joel Lippman, City View Events Manager. “It’s a breathtaking venue that is versatile for groups of all sizes in an unmatched location.”
Overlooking Yerba Buena Gardens, City View is close to Moscone Convention Center, world-class museums, shopping, hotels and transit. The event space is part of the transformation of METREON that includes a new dining Terrace overlooking Yerba Buena Gardens, shops and restaurants.
Additional new features of City View include a contemporary lobby, elevated DJ platforms, new flooring, adjustable “living wall” treatments, loading dock access, a coat check room, a catering area, movable electric terrace heaters and new restrooms. Bookings are being accepted for the next three years.
