Massachusetts Meetings Magnet to Wrap Upgrades in May

FRAMINGHAM, Mass.

Sheraton Framingham Hotel & Conference Center announced that it will complete a multimillion-dollar renovation in May. Extensive improvements to the 375-key hotel will include freshly designed public space, a transformed restaurant and lounge, comfortably appointed guest rooms, upgraded ballroom and fitness center.

The expansive renovations will complement the existing 22,000-square-foot conference and meeting facilities approved by the International Association of Conference Centers (IACC).

“The improved design embraces the favorite, traditional elements of the castle-inspired hotel while incorporating modern features that create a functional and contemporary environment,” says Doris Hager of Hager and Associates Inc., the interior design firm for Sheraton Framingham Hotel & Conference Center.

The Grand Ballroom, with its eighteen-foot ceilings, is receiving updated touches of soft greys and neutrals. This space offers the most expansive dance floor in the region, accommodating up to 1,200 people.

The hotel’s extensive IACC-approved conference facilities are comprised of approximately 22,000 square feet of versatile meeting space. The spaces at Sheraton Framingham Hotel & Conference Center are designed to maximize productivity of meetings for groups of 25-75 attendees, with features including 18-hour ergonomic chairs, tackable surfaces with white boards, non-glare surfaces and lighting and acoustics optimized for conferences.
