Lanai
Challenge at Manele
This Jack Nicklaus-designed championship golf course boasts panoramic ocean views that stretch across lava fields. Groups can hold events right on a tee box overlooking the ocean.

Lanai Equestrian Center/Lanai Pines Sporting Clays
Located in the expansive upland region of Lanai and offering dynamic views, groups can engage in team-building programs that include sporting clay shooting, horseback riding and paniolo- (Hawaiian cowboy) themed dinner events.

Maui
Maui Ocean Center
Having the capacity to serve up to 200 seated (more if tented) and up to 792 in facility-wide, along with more than 60 exhibits, the Ocean Center makes a splash with groups.

Makena Vista
Owned by the Makena Beach & Golf Resort, the oceanfront Vista offers views of Molokini, and its seclusion means that receptions of up to 250 can end on the late side.

Olowalu Plantation House
This private estate’s beachside location just south of downtown Lahaina means that its phenomenal decor comes courtesy of nature. Groups of up to 200 can be accommodated.

Besides reporting on the travel trade, Tyler has covered the real estate industry, held various editorial positions at the San Francisco-based national satire magazine The Nose, wrote freelance technology industry pieces and covered the San Francisco 49ers and Oakland Raiders for a bilingual newspaper in San Francisco. He has a B.A. in Journalism from San Francisco State University, where he worked in various editorial capacities on its award-winning student magazine, Prism.
