From the Editor: Live! on the Links (June 2016)

Enjoy a round or two on one of the premier golf courses in the world? If you’re a meeting planner who organizes golf-focused programs and didn’t join us at Meetings Today Live! Golf in mid-May at PGA National Resort & Spa, in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., you triple bogeyed the hole.

But much more than just fairway fun, our annual Golf edition of Meetings Today Live! also featured one-on-one Business Exchange appointments matching buyers and sellers, a riveting presentation by speaker Kristen Brown and even an impromptu bowling outing that devolved into organized chaos as decidedly non-traditional versions of the sport were “rolled” out.

To see what I mean, check out all of the action at MeetingsToday.com/LiveGallery.

We’ve got a couple more Live! events on the calendar to round out the year, so go to www.MeetingsToday.com/Live to get more info on these fun, and informative, gatherings of meeting professionals.

In This Issue
For the cover story this month, regular contributor Jeff Heilman dug deep into Atlantic City for a report on how the historic seaside destination is tapping into the meetings market, with a big assist from Caesars Entertainment and its spectacular Harrah’s Atlantic City Waterfront Conference Center, home of this year’s MPI World Education Congress.

Enjoy the June issue, and maybe we’ll see you out on the golf course next time. Fore!
