Meetings Today LIVE! MidAmerica hit a lofty high note on its opening night Sunday, May 20, 2018, with a welcome reception perched 20 floors above downtown St. Louis in the historic Crystal Ballroom of the Marriott St. Louis Grand Hotel.
The three-day event, held May 20-23, 2018, pairs meeting planners with meetings industry suppliers for one-on-one appointments, site inspections of local meeting facilities and attractions, a keynote educational presentation, “Design Thinking for Better Engagement,” by Amplified Growth CEO KiKi L’Italien, and networking events at the city’s top venues.
Highlights during Meetings Today LIVE! MidAmerica in St. Louis will include the following:
- A tour of Busch Stadium, home of the MLB St. Louis Cardinals, along with lunch at Cardinals Nation and a baseball game later that night.
- A tour of the Budweiser Brewery.
- Happy hour at 360 Rooftop at Hilton Ballpark.
- Dinner at Curio Union Station.
- A tour of The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis.
- A Gateway Arch Experience.
- A closing night reception at Flamingo Bowl.
Tuesday, May 22, 2018, will include a combined educational effort that anyone can access on behalf of KiKi L’Italien and Meetings Today, who will co-host a broadcast of L’Italien’s popular Association Chat at The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis, aided by some of the planners in attendance at Meetings Today LIVE! MidAmerica, who will drop in to provide their take on the most pressing issues facing the meetings industry and their jobs.
