The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) named Vanessa Claspill as the DMO’s new Chief Sales Officer (CSO). In her new role, Claspill will bolster key partnerships and help grow meetings, conventions and tradeshow sales for the destination and the Las Vegas Convention Center.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Vanessa to the LVCVA team,” Steve Hill, CEO and president of the LVCVA, said in a press release. “Her strategic vision, energy and deep understanding of our industry will be an incredible asset to Las Vegas and to our customers.”
Claspill’s previous experience includes time as chief commercial officer at Crescent Hotels and Resorts, where she directed the organization’s sales, marketing, digital and revenue strategies. Claspill also served as senior vice president of sales and top line strategy at Davidson Hospitality Group and corporate director of sales and marketing for the Sydell Group.
