Visit Greensboro Appoints New President and CEO

Anthony Cordo

The Greensboro/Guilford County Tourism Development Authority named Anthony Cordo as the new president and CEO of Visit Greensboro. Cordo will officially begin his role on July 14, having most recently served as the executive vice president of Visit Lauderdale.

In his new role, Cordo will engage local stakeholders and community leaders, build strong community partnerships and help grow Greensboro’s arts and entertainment scene.

"My goal is to build on the great work already accomplished,” Cordo said in a press release. “We'll strengthen Greensboro’s brand, deepen collaborations and drive awareness of what makes Greensboro so unique. This will continue to grow our meetings, sports and other tourism verticals, which deliver solid job opportunities and pay to residents.”

Cordo succeeds longtime head of the Greensboro CVB, Henri Fourrier, who retired June 30 after 28 years at the helm of the organization.
